Abstract:
A method for recording a two-gradation image on a light-sensitive material provides for line scanning of the surface of the light-sensitive material (19) by a light-line image (18) formed on the screen (11) of a cathode-ray tube (1) and projected on the light-sensitive material. The light-line image (18) is oriented perpendicularly to the direction of the scanning line. The length of the light-line image (18) and its position in the longitudinal direction on the screen (11) of the cathode-ray tube (1) is changed during the scanning process according to the information about the image to be recorded.
