Abstract:
Provided is a method that is for recovering an anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier and that can easily and efficiently recover the anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier adsorbed by a basic ion exchange resin. An organic solvent having a nitrile group and an aqueous solution of an inorganic acid are contacted to the basic ion exchange resin that has adsorbed the anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier, and a liquid phase containing the anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier is recovered, or an aqueous solution of an inorganic acid is contacted to the basic ion exchange resin that has adsorbed the anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier, and next, after contacting an organic solvent having a nitrile group, the result is separated into the basic ion exchange resin and a liquid phase, the liquid phase is recovered, and the acid of the anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier is recovered from the liquid phase.
