Abstract:
One aspect of the present invention provides a method for recycling titanium scrap, comprising the steps of: (step 1) removing, from titanium scrap, organic matter and sulfides and preparing titanium oxide by oxidizing the titanium scrap; (step 2) pulverizing the prepared titanium oxide and mixing the same with a carbon powder; and (step 3) forming titanium carbonitride by carbonitriding the mixed titanium oxide.
