Title:
METHOD FOR REDUCING MEASUREMENT ERRORS DUE TO HEMOLYZED HEMOGLOBIN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/085323
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for reducing measurement errors caused by hemolyzed hemoglobin. The method of the present invention comprises treating a biological component in a sample or a substance derived from the biological component with an oxidase, and reacting the hydrogen peroxide thus generated with a color former in the presence of a peroxidase followed by colorimetric determination, wherein measurement errors caused by hemolyzed hemoglobin are reduced by the action of at least one nonionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of a glucamine nonionic surfactant and a polyoxyethylene nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 12.7-13.6.
