Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of optical communications, and provides a method for reducing wavelength shift of a laser in a burst mode and the laser. The method comprises: employing graphene, a GaAs quantum well material, color center crystal and other saturated absorption materials; cooperating with a laser chip burst current control system, and reducing the temperature difference of a laser chip in the burst mode during burst-on/burst-off; and reducing the temperature fluctuation range of the laser chip in the burst mode, thereby reducing the wavelength shift of the laser.
