Description:
THE METHOD OF REFLECTING TRAFFIC AND HIGHWAY SIGNALING

LIGHTS ON THE ROAD

Technical Field:

This invention allows pedestrians to travel more safely, it is related to the method of reflecting traffic and highway signaling lights on the road, which prevents drivers from getting into accidents and reduces the workload of traffic safety teams, and allows traffic lights and highway signaling to be reflected on the ground for more comfortable viewing on the asphalt due to the reflection solution.

State of the Art:

A traffic light or traffic lamp is a traffic regulation tool that is located at road junctions, intersections, pedestrian crossings, and other places where traffic needs to be controlled. But often not enough attention is paid to it, and accidents occur. Drivers often do not stop at a red light or pedestrians light even if it's lighting green

In the systems used today, an audible warning is given and the remaining seconds are shown, but it is still not very effective for both drivers and pedestrians. Traffic lights in most of the city are sometimes not noticeable due to stimulating factors, and people do not act thoughtfully according to these lights.

The patent application numbered JP2001090479A describes the “Reflected Lighting Method and Fixture As Well As Installation Apparatus". The presented invention is a method of reflective lighting both armature and mounting devices that can prevent sudden drops in the speed of the driver at the tunnel entrance, and aims to minimize traffic congestion by preventing a sudden deterioration in the field of view when a vehicle enters the tunnel. The purpose of this invention is to provide a reflective tape reflecting the light emitted from the headlight of a vehicle over a reflective inclined surface provided on a board attached to the inside of a tunnel and on the surface of the board. It was mentioned that the inclined surface for the reflective part is formed by an angle of inclination that directs the light reflected from the reflective tape to the front of the vehicle.

The patent application numbered JP2001172927A describes the ““Light-Emitting Stop Line System” is described in the patent application". The presented invention is installed on a temporary stopping line or at a road intersection, such as a highway or railway crossing, and a light-emitting type of road tape is placed at night or at an intersection where the vision is not clear to provide signal assistance or attention. The present invention mentions a light-emitting stop-line system.

The applications discussed above are not very effective and are not a practical method for widespread use. In the current system, no method will attract the attention of people in traffic visually. For this reason, drivers cannot notice the lights due to thoughtfulness and pass at a red light. Although there are fines for drivers in addition to big consequences leading up to accidents. To prevent such negative situations, precautions should be taken in earlier stages and effective systems should be used.

As a result, a new technology is needed that can overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages, allows pedestrians to travel more safely, prevents drivers from getting into an accident, reduces the workload of the traffic safety teams, and has a simple system for widespread use.

Description of the Invention:

The present invention is a method of reflecting traffic and highway signaling lights on the road, a feature of which is that it is a new technology that allows pedestrians to travel more safely, prevents drivers from getting into accidents, reduces the workload of the traffic safety teams and has a simple system for widespread use. To achieve all the goals mentioned above and which will emerge from the detailed description below, the invention makes traffic lights more noticeable for drivers and pedestrians, therefore preventing possible accidents.

Due to this invention, the lights are reflected on the road and become noticeable. The fact that it is reflected in such a way that it is difficult to escape attention, people are prevented from seeing these warnings by thoughtfulness.

With the popularization of the method subject to the invention, signaling processes are applied more practically. By using the reflection solution for the lights that will be reflected on the road, it is possible to see the reflection of the traffic light projecting on the liquid mirror on the ground. For this reason, the method is quite simple and suitable for common use. It provides a more comfortable view of the traffic light and highway signaling on the asphalt.

Due to this invention, car users will be able to notice traffic lights and highway signaling while driving day or night, creating a safer environment for both drivers and pedestrians.

The diagram given below shows all the advantages of the method under the invention and it will become clearer due to the detailed description written regarding this scheme therefore, the evaluation should also be carried out taking into account this scheme and its detailed description.

3. Application Area Description of the Invention:

In the method subject to the invention, a traffic light (1) is applied to the application area (3) with a reflection solution (2) to ensure that its lights are reflected on the road.

In the invention, a liquid mirror or a reflective reflection solution (2) is applied to reflect the lights of traffic lights (1) to the application area (3) on the road.

Detailed Description Of The Invention:

In the method subject to the invention, the lights are reflected on the road and become noticeable. This is done with a liquid mirror or any reflective reflection solution (2) that allows the traffic light (1) lights to be reflected on the road.

By the method of the invention, the reflection of the traffic light projecting on a liquid mirror or any reflective solution (2) can be seen on the ground using a reflection solution for lights projected on the road by the reflection method.
