Abstract:
Provided is a method for enhancing a polyisoprenoid biosynthesis pathway on the whole. Also provided are: an isoprenoid-producing plant in which a polyisoprenoid biosynthesis pathway is enhanced on the whole; and a method for producing a polyisoprenoid using the isoprenoid-producing plant. The present invention relates to a method for regulating the expression of at least one protein selected from the group consisting of hydroxymethylglutaryl-CoA reductase, isopentenyl diphosphate isomerase, cis-prenyltransferase and small rubber particle protein using a cytokinin-responsive transcription factor.
