Abstract:
It is intended to provide a technology for controlling a transmission position by magnetic force with the use of general biomolecule introduction factor. This is accomplished through finding of the fact that even generally employed and artificially synthesizable magnetic particles, such as iron colloid, can be used together with nucleic acid introduction factors and through ascertainment of negligibility of in vivo toxicity thereof. Thus, there is provided a technology for enhancing therapeutic effects, comprising modifying a gene transmission factor, such as gene vector, with magnetic particles and guiding the modified factor to a target tissue, and further provided an apparatus capable of magnetic field control.
