Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of battery material production. Disclosed is a method for removing metal foreign matter in a battery material. The method comprises the following steps: arranging a rough surface; enabling the battery material to flow on the rough surface by using an acting force, such that sliding friction occurs between the battery material and the rough surface, wherein the included angle between the acting force and the rough surface is θ, the magnitude of the acting force is F, the static friction factor of the metal foreign matter and the rough surface is μ, and θ, F, and μ satisfy the following relational expression: Fcosθ:μFsinθ=(0.1-0.9):1; wherein the flowing time of the battery material on the rough surface is 5-30 s; and demagnetizing the battery material by using a pipe demagnetizer. Before entering a demagnetizer for demagnetization, a battery material passes over a rough surface for screening of metal foreign matter in the battery material, thereby reducing the proportion of medium-risk metal foreign matter and high-risk metal foreign matter in the battery material, and improving the yield of a final product.
