Abstract:
A method for replacing a choke ring of a vertical crusher that comprises a charging hood, a shell, a crushing mechanism, a discharge ring, and a choke ring arranged between the shell and the discharge ring and forming a gap with the crushing mechanism into which the crushed material drops, and that includes a spacer that forms a hollow space with the charging hood, shell, and discharge ring and also forms an expansion space that expands the hollow space in the direction along the axis of rotation, the method including a clamping pressure reducing step of reducing or releasing the clamping pressure between the members clamping the spacer, a spacer removing step of removing the spacer after the clamping pressure reducing step, and a choke ring replacing step of pulling out the choke ring radially outward by using the space ensured by the spacer removing step and replacing the choke ring.
