Title:
METHOD FOR SCREENING OF SUBSTANCE CAPABLE OF PROMOTING RECOVERY OF SKIN BARRIER FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/068221
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method for screening for a substance capable of promoting the recovery of a skin barrier function, the method comprising the steps of: incubating caspase-14 and prosaposin in the presence of a candidate substance for the substance capable of promoting the recovery of a skin barrier function; and selecting the candidate substance as the substance capable of promoting the recovery of a skin barrier function when the decomposition of prosaposin into saposin A is promoted significantly compared with that achieved in the presence of a reference substance.
