Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a method for searching data in an integrated development environment, and a related device. The method comprises: determining M search entries according to a data source and N keywords (S210), wherein an m-th search entry among the M search entries comprises N keywords, N and M are positive integers greater than or equal to 1, and m = 1, ..., M; determining an arrangement sequence of the M search entries (S220), wherein the arrangement sequence of the m-th search entry among the M search entries is positively correlated with a first distance and/or a second distance of the m-th search entry; and displaying the M search entries according to the determined arrangement sequence (S230). By using the method, a search entry with a smaller first distance and/or second distance can be arranged at a sequence position with a smaller numerical value, such that a target search entry can be positioned relatively quickly by means of relatively few keywords or phrases, thereby saving on the time for manually searching for the target search entry, and improving the accuracy of a search.
