Abstract:
Provided are a method for searching and a device for searching for similar breakdown cases and that can suitably search for past events, taking into consideration maintenance conditions as well. The device for searching similar breakdown cases is configured from: a first means, which detects a signal abnormality from a machine that is the subject of maintenance, and determines the correlation with past abnormality cases by means of quantification as similar abnormality cases; a second means, which determines a component maintenance history for the machine that is the subject of maintenance in the similar abnormality cases by means of quantification; and a third means that, in accordance with the quantified correlation and the quantified component maintenance history, provides a level of priority for a plurality of past similar abnormality cases. In the method for searching for similar breakdown cases, a signal abnormality from the machine that is the subject of maintenance is detected, the correlation with past abnormality cases is determined by means of quantification as similar abnormality cases, the component maintenance history of the machine that is the subject of maintenance in the similar abnormality cases is quantified, and in accordance with the quantified correlation and the quantified component maintenance history, a level of priority for a plurality of past similar abnormality cases is determined.
