Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of cabbage cultivation, in particular to a method for the seed reproduction of common head cabbages in an open field during overwintering. The method comprises the following steps: selecting a plot with a high terrain, less water standing, good drainage and irrigation, ventilation and exposure to light, and fertile soil as a seedbed; performing sowing after 16:30 pm, wherein before sowing, ridges are compacted, furrow surfaces are leveled, the bottom is filled with water, a thin layer of sieved fine soil is spread on the furrow surface after the water completely seeps out, and the seeds are then uniformly spread and covered with a sieved fine soil layer having a thickness of 0.5 cm; covering same with a sunshade net after sowing, removing the sunshade net in the evening after 80% of the seedlings emerge, and covering the seedlings with a sieved fine soil layer having a thickness of 0.2-0.3 cm and containing a fungicide after all the seedlings emerge to prevent damping-off; and approximately 15 days after sowing, i.e. when the seedlings have 2 leaves and 1 heart, separating the seedlings. The beneficial effect is that: the method for the seed reproduction of common head cabbages in an open field during overwintering provided by the present invention ensures a stable strain with the offspring, wherein same are propagated by means of the pollination of a maintainer line with the normal development of female organs and abortion of male organs, having consistent traits.
