Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a method for selecting a service and session continuity (SSC) mode, a communication network element, and a storage medium. The method for selecting an SSC mode is applied in a session management function (SMF), and comprises: obtaining an available SSC mode for a session establishment request according to a mapping relationship between a slice identifier of a network slice and an SSC mode; and selecting an SSC mode for use from the available SSC mode.
