Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for selecting a shell egg, said method including a measurement step for radiating near-infrared rays to a shell egg and measuring a near-infrared absorption spectrum, a prediction step for predicting the content of an egg-white component in the shell egg from the near-infrared absorption spectrum, and a selection step for selecting a shell egg on the basis of the predicted content of the egg-white component in the shell egg.
