Abstract:
The present invention relates to a biometric information recognition apparatus and a method for the apparatus for selectively activating a plurality of piezoelectric elements. Specifically, the present invention relates to a biometric information recognition apparatus which can be utilized in identifying an individual user by recognizing biometric information such as a fingerprint, blood vessels and bone of a finger, and to an operational method for the apparatus, and in particular, the present invention relates to a biometric information scanning method which is different from the conventional method, the method selectively activating the plurality of piezoelectric elements, which can be individually activated, provided in the biometric information recognition apparatus.
