Abstract:
A method for sensing the Public User Identity in the service profile in the communication system
and the apparatus thereof include: in the communication network providing the
multimedia services, the entity reserving the service profile information transmits
at least one Public User Identity information associated with the same service
profile in the reserved service profile information to the entity which is communicating
with it; the entity which is communicating with it obtains at least one Public
User Identity information associated with the same service profile from the
information transmitted by the entity reserving the service profile information.
The method of grouping users by the service profile enables the entities to sense
the Public User Identity information associated with the same service profile,
such as S-CSCF, AS, UE etc, thereby to realize the corresponding operation process
according to the Public User Identity information associated with the same service
profile.
