Abstract:
A method of separation of the solid phase in the drilling mud consists in forming an adhesive layer (4) of the drilling mud on a rotating curved closed surface (3) partially immersed into the drilling mud, whereas another adhesive layer (7) is made of a technical liquid (5) on another curved closed surface (6) by way of rotating the latter in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the former rotating curved surface (3). Both curved closed surfaces (3, 6) are so located that their adhesive layers (4, 7) interpenetrate themselves up to a depth sufficient for selection of bigger particles of the solid phase from the adhesive layer (4) consisting of the drilling mud by the adhesive layer (7) consisting of the technical liquid. The linear velocities of the adhesive layers are so selected that the resulting centrifugal forces are equal to or lesser than the centripetal forces.
