Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/159775
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for setting up and to a method for maintaining or disassembling a wind turbine having a hub height of at least 140 meters, wherein a heavy-duty lifting gear (54) is temporarily brought to the tower top (18) for installation, replacement or disassembly and subsequently is immediately removed again, said action being carried out without an external crane. A light-duty lifting gear, which is attached to the tower, is used to set up the tower such that no external large cranes are required. An auxiliary lifting gear can transport the heavy-duty lifting gear (54) to the top (18) of the tower and lower it therefrom for the disassembly or replacement of the large components.
