Abstract:
A method for sharing channel occupancy time (COT), and a terminal device. The method comprises: a second terminal device receives resource indication information sent by a first terminal device, and determines, according to the resource indication information, a transmission resource indicated by the first terminal device; the second terminal device performs listen before talk (LBT) according to the indicated transmission resource; and if the LBT by the second terminal device succeeds, the second terminal device shares COT with the first terminal device. In the method, the second terminal device performs LBT and shares the obtained COT with the first terminal device, and the first terminal device performs channel access according to the COT. Therefore, the problem that the first terminal device and other terminal devices near the second terminal device are mutually hidden terminals is solved, and the communication reliability is improved.
