Abstract:
This method for smelting steel formed of an Al-killed steel containing Mn and Ti comprises a primary refining step for performing primary refining in a converter furnace, and a secondary refining step for transferring molten steel from the converter furnace to a treatment furnace, and adjusting the component composition of the molten steel in the treatment furnace, wherein the secondary refining step includes an Al raw material supply step for supplying an Al raw material to the molten steel in the treatment furnace, a Mn raw material supply step for supplying a Mn raw material to the molten steel in the treatment furnace simultaneously with or after the Al raw material supply step, and a Ti raw material supply step for supplying a Ti raw material to the molten steel in the treatment furnace after the Al raw material supply step, and simultaneously with or after the Mn raw material supply step.
