Abstract:
It is intended to provide a spraying method with the use of a drift reduction nozzle by which drifts of a pesticide (for example, a harm to the neighborhood residents, the residual pesticide in adjacent crops, contamination of water for public use with the pesticide, exposure of a sprayer to the pesticide and so on) can be reduced while lessening uneven sticking and preventing a lowering in the efficacy of the pesticide. A method of spraying a pesticide which comprises spraying a spray solution containing the pesticide, a nonionic surfactant and water in the case of spraying the pesticide to a plant (for example, the stem, branches, leaves or fruits of a crop or the trunk, branches or leaves of a tree) or soil in which a plant is grown or to be grown, with the use of a sprayer provided with a drift reduction nozzle.
