Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for starting a mini program, a device and a computer storage medium. The method comprises: confirming, after host applications of a terminal device obtain an event that triggers the start of a mini program, whether a host application in which a file package of the mini program is stored exists in the terminal device; if yes, starting the mini program by using the file package of the mini program; otherwise, downloading and storing the file package of the mini program from a server, and setting the storage position of the file package of the mini program to be readable by other host applications. In the present invention, the host applications in the same terminal device share the downloaded file package of the mini program to start the mini program, thereby solving the problem of repeated downloading of the mini program, and saving resources.
