Abstract:
A chip carrier (1) for an individual sperm or a trace amount of sperm, the carrier comprising the chip carrier (1), an X indicator axis (5), a Y indicator axis (6), and micro-arrays (3). The chip carrier (1) is composed of a coating (2), a polymer material layer (4), and a specific antibody adsorbed on the coating (2). The polymer material layer (4) is located at a bottommost portion of the chip carrier (1), and an upper surface of the polymer material layer (4) is attached to a lower layer of the coating (2). The multiple micro-arrays (3) are provided on the coating (2). Storage of individual sperms or a trace amount of sperm is achieved by placing individual sperm picked up under a microscope on the micro-arrays (3) on the chip carrier (1), and placing a chip in a cryogenic vial for conventional cryogenic preservation. The invention realizes effective storage of individual sperm or a trace amount of sperm, thereby preventing cross contamination, achieving accurate storage and retrieval of sperm, providing high operability, and meeting a demand of cryogenic sperm preservation of oligospermia patients.
