Abstract:
A method for the synchronization of the multimedia broadcast/multicast is provided
which includes the following steps: the Service Center (3) delivers the service
data simultaneously with the synchronization information; the Terminal Node
Controllers (2) receives the service data and delivers the service data according
to the corresponding synchronization information. The method for the synchronization
of the multimedia broadcast/multicast implements the sending synchronization
of the service data in the Terminal Node Controllers by using the system clock
and the synchronization information. When the terminal is moving in the radio
network, the method ensures the seamless handover on the border of adjacent cells
and the effective receiving of data for the terminal.
