Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for synthesizing a metal complex such as a ruthenium metal complex which is useful as a sensitizing dye for photochemical cells. This method enables to shorten the reaction time, to heighten the yield and to reduce the equipment cost of the synthesis process. Specifically, microwave irradiation is followed by aging in the synthesis process of a metal complex.
