Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a method for synthesizing vinyl chloride by using a mercury catalyst, the method belonging to the technical field of chemical synthesis. A method for synthesizing vinyl chloride by using a mercury catalyst, which method comprises raw-material soaking, separation, acid pickling, washing with water, drying, waste-catalyst recovery and the treatment of waste gas and waste liquid. The raw-material soaking involves adding a required amount of mercuric chloride to a mechanical-stirring dissolution tank heated by steam, then adding a certain amount of industrial hydrochloric acid and a certain amount of clear water or recycled water in an industrial pool, starting a stirrer, introducing steam therein to heat same to 80ºC, and keeping the temperature constant for 20 minutes, thereby dissolving the mercuric chloride into a transparent solution for later use. The method provided in the present invention can realize strong adaptability; a smelting process flow has relatively strong adaptability with regard to raw materials, such that the production is flexible and environmentally friendly, with little smoke-dust leakage; raw materials are stored in a warehouse, such that pollution caused by open-air stacking and natural water runoff are avoided; and the process is mature, reliable, efficient and energy-saving, and feasible economic benefits are achieved.
