Abstract:
Provided are a method and system for accelerating an equilibrium computation on a sparse recurrent neural network: determining scheduling information according to an arbitration result of the sparsity of a weight matrix; selecting a computation sub-module whose operating voltage and operating frequency match the scheduling information, or a computation sub-module whose operating voltage and operating frequency are adjusted to match the scheduling information; using the selected computation sub-module to perform zero-hop and multiplication and addition operations in sequence, achieving equilibrium computation acceleration. The equilibrium computation acceleration system comprises a data transfer module, an equilibrium computation scheduling module having a plurality of independent computation sub-modules, and a voltage-adjustable equilibrium computation module. An error monitor is configured to perform dynamic voltage adjustment; The data transfer module rapidly exchanges read/write memory configurations, reducing additional data transmission; while increasing computing speed, power consumption is reduced by means of equilibrium scheduling, and voltage fluctuations during calculation are reduced.
