Abstract:
A method for allocating loss based on the traffic level includes: mapping the subdivided traffic and level to be the corresponding QoS level and allocating priority; mapping the QoS level and allocating priority to be the corresponding forward level, determining the side-to-side loss performance index of every network segment according to the forwarding level; and allocating the loss according to the determined loss performance index. There is also a corresponding loss allocation system. By subdividing the traffic to be the different traffic levels, and allocating the loss based on that, it is easy for the traffics having higher levels to obtain the guarantee of end-to-end performance, the different forwarding paths having different performances are used to forward the different traffics needed by the different performance, the resource usage of the network segment can be advanced, the ability for providing high quality traffic of the network segment is improved.
