Abstract:
The embodiments of the present description provide a method and a system for applying a bar code, and a server. The method comprises: a server receiving a decoding request sent by a client of a user, the decoding request comprising: a bar code picture associated with a smart device, or a code value of a bar code in the bar code picture associated with the smart device; the bar code server acquiring state information corresponding to the code value of the bar code; if the state information is second state information, returning service information associated with the user; or if the state information is first state information, sending configuration address information to the client, so as to configure the smart device; and changing the state information corresponding to the code value of the bar code.
