Abstract:
A method for awarding points on the basis of the weight of leftover food returned in a restaurant is disclosed. The present invention comprises the steps of: receiving sign-ups and assigning an identification number to each restaurant and each user that signs up; providing a restaurant with a leftover food scale capable of weighing an empty dish at a predetermined period of time, calculating a cost corresponding to a point to be generated in the restaurant, and then receiving the cost as an advance deposit from the restaurant; calculating differentiated points according to the amount of leftover food transmitted from the leftover food scale and accumulating the points to users; and providing the restaurant with a cost corresponding to the totaled points for each restaurant and receiving a deposit to compensate for the advance deposit.
