Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a system of bidirectional authentication based on hash function. The method includes: an authentication activation packet is sent to an electronic tag (TAG) by a reader (READER); the TAG constructs an authentication request packet and sends it to the READER; a cryptographic key request packet is constructed and sent to an application system database of electronic tags (DB); a certificate authentication request packet is sent to an authentication server (AS); a certificate authentication response packet is sent to the DB; a cryptographic key response packet is sent to the READER; an authentication response packet is sent to the TAG; an authentication confirmation packet is sent to the READER. The invention provides a method and a system of bidirectional authentication based on hash function, which can enable bidirectional authentication with no need of a secure link between the database and the reader and make rational use of equipment performance.
