Disclosed are a method and a system for controlling a media player. Through a control method according to embodiments of the present invention, a user experience (UX) and/or a user interface (UI) may be provided to allow a user to simply handle, with one hand, various operations such as reproduction, reproduction stop, content selection, search in a content, and volume adjustment for the content provided by a media player.
