Abstract:
A method and system for correcting a temperature error of a depth camera. The method comprises: utilizing at least two depth cameras to acquire depth images of a current target, the at least two depth cameras have a partial common view area; modeling a measurement error of the depth cameras caused by a temperature change; and utilizing the modeled measurement error to correct the depth images, so that the corrected depth images have a minimum difference in the common view area. Based on the principle that depth values of a common view area of multiple depth cameras should be the same, a relationship model between a temperature change and a depth measurement error is established; and the solution and correction of the depth measurement error are realized by multiple solution methods, and the measurement precision of the depth cameras can be improved.
