Abstract:
In a method and system for generating a landmark map by using a live map, according to an embodiment, GPS coordinates of a landmark including a festival area are recognized according to live map scale and a landmark position is displayed on a user map that is a map of the festival area, instead of a live map, when entering a landmark section. According to an embodiment, a landmark position center point is selected from the live map, a space between landmarks is measured through image analysis on the basis of the displayed center point, and the GPS coordinates are recognized according to the live map scale on the basis of the measured space. Also, according to an embodiment, a user position is traced, the user map that is the map of the festival area is output instead of the live map when entering a festival section, and then the user position is displayed. Also, according to an embodiment, when an image rotation angle is different between a site map and the live map, the rotation angle is adjusted after comparison through image analysis, and a display angle of the user map is adjusted.
