Abstract:
A method for intelligent uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for an ATM device and a system for intelligent UPS for an ATM device, used for solving the problem of wasted electricity, which is caused by existing UPS systems distributing electricity and power supply time equally and evenly among ATM devices. The method comprises: when a commercial power supply is cut off, acquiring a remaining total electricity of a UPS system (101); acquiring preset priorities of all ATM devices on the UPS system (102); determining the proportion of electricity to be distributed for each ATM device according to the preset priorities of all ATM devices (103); acquiring an available power supply capacity corresponding to each ATM device according to the remaining total electricity and the proportion of the electricity to be distributed (104); estimating a corresponding available power supply time according to the available power supply capacity of each ATM device (105); and controlling the UPS system to power off the ATM device whose power supply time has exceeded said power supply time while the commercial power is cut off (106).
