Abstract:
A method and system for managing IPv6 address conflict automatically. The method comprises: after receiving a DAD message from a terminal, a BRAS searching local records to check whether an interface identifier in the DAD message is present under a prefix identical to a local routing prefix in the DAD message, and if yes, transmitting a reconfiguration message to the terminal; otherwise, recoding the interface identifier.
