Abstract:
A method, a system and an edge device for performing the keepalive monitoring
on client sessions are disclosed. The method, system and edge device perform
the keepalive monitoring on a group of client sessions, and take the result of
the keepalive monitoring performed on the group of client sessions as the result
of the keepalive monitoring of each of the plurality of client sessions in the
group of client sessions so that the plurality of client sessions in the group
of client sessions can be processed in a form of grouping so as to reduce the instant
processing throughput of the IP edge device for the client sessions. Therefore,
it is possible to reduce the instant processing load of the IP edge device for the
client sessions and increase the instant processing speed of the IP edge decivce
for the client sessions.
