Abstract:

A method and a system for realizing the service of multimedia ring-back tone are provided. The method includes: during the procedure of relaying the call, when determining that the user of the calling side subscribes the service of multimedia ring-back tone, establishing the connection with the platform of multimedia ring-back tone, and completing the negotiation of media capability between the calling terminal and the platform of multimedia ring-back tone; acquiring the first media content and the second media content according to the information of multimedia ring-back tone subscribed by the user, and generating the stream media according to the first media content and the second media content; playing the stream media to the calling party.
