Abstract:
A method and a system for recording and playing back a program. The method comprises: after a recording request instruction of a program is detected, acquiring the descriptor of the program, and determining, according to the descriptor, whether the program is a scrambled program; if the program is a scrambled program, descrambling the program using a smart card having a right to descramble the program, and encrypting and storing a recorded file of the program according to the descriptor; if the program is a non-scrambled program, encrypting and storing the recorded file of the program using a general key; after a playback request instruction of the recorded file is detected, acquiring the descriptor, and determining, by means of the descriptor, whether the program is a scrambled program; if the program is a scrambled program, descrambling the program using a smart card having a right to descramble the program, and descrambling and playing back the recorded file according to the descriptor; if the program is a non-scrambled program, descrambling and playing back the recorded file using a general key.
