Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system for recovering an image error using data hiding. A server for providing image content, which generates image content having information for image error recovery inserted therein, includes: a unit for block decomposition depositing an original image into at least one block having a predetermined size; a unit for generating block description information (BDI) including information for recovering the deposited block; a unit for inserting block description information which inserts the generated BDI into another block other than the block recovered by the generated BDI; and a unit generating a provided image which generates provided image content by combining at least one block having the inserted BDI.
