Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system for tower shadow correction using a machine learning algorithm on the basis of wind speed data, and the tower shadow correction system using a machine learning algorithm on the basis of wind speed data according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a data collection unit for collecting wind speed data measured by a plurality of anemometers installed on a meteorological tower; a section determination unit for classifying a tower shadow section where the measured wind speed is higher or lower than the actual wind speed with respect to the collected wind speed data and a normal section excluding the tower shadow section; a machine learning unit for allowing a machine learning model to perform machine learning with respect to the normal section of the collected wind speed data; and a correction unit for correcting the wind speed data using the machine learning model.
