Abstract:
A method and terminal for editing a contact list entry. The method comprises: receiving an instruction for adding an object containing contact information, adding the object containing the contact information to a contact list entry program; identifying and acquiring, by the contact list entry program and according to a preset identification principle, information of a related entry in a contact list entry from the object containing the contact information, and correspondingly filling the same to a corresponding entry of the contact list entry. By adding the object containing the contact information to a contact list entry program, and by pre-setting an identification principle to distinguish the acquired information of a related entry in the contact list entry, the technical solution of the present invention can quickly acquire a contact list entry and increase an efficiency in editing the contact list entry. Additionally, the present invention edits and modifies the contact list entry via an external instruction, thus increasing an accuracy of the contact list entry.
