A method for testing the voice technique capability in the access network includes: prepare the voice data; establish the testing environment, and set at least two access point and a plurality of access terminals; pretest the capability of the voice technique and determine the reference capability of this voice technique in the access network; then determine a plurality of capability testing points according to the reference capability, and test the voice technique capability at each capability testing point and record the corresponding testing data; analyze and process the testing data to determine the capability and quality result of the voice technique in the access network. By using the present invention, the capability of the access network is tested when it uses the special voice technique, and the voice quality of the voice technique in the access network is analyzed and processed allsidedly. Therefore, the inaccuracy and onesidedness is avoided when a few of special channles is selected to test the voice quality in the conventional method.
