Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for the therapeutic and prophylactic treatment of dental diseases, wherein said method comprises illuminating the oral cavity using an optical radiation and cleaning the teeth during the emission of said radiation. The various illumination and cleaning modes proposed in this invention provide respectively for the therapeutic and prophylactic treatment of caries, periodontium and inflammations.
