Technical Field of Invention

[001] The embodiments herein generally relate to a method for tourism management and particularly relate to a method for managing humanitarian needs in the field of tourism. The embodiments herein more particularly relate to a method for managing and quality controlling of various types of tours by determining and enhancing an index of geographical attraction, accessibility routes, tourism facilities and tourist index.

[002] The tourism industry in the world is among the several major industry and the first industry in presenting the services by exchanging more than 800 million tourists between different countries and its turnover for the sum of dollar 900 billion. The tourism has become a money making industry and is increasing rapidly in the developed countries at a faster rate than their annual growth. The tourism in developing countries is increasing so rapidly that in the most of these countries, the branch of tourism is the most important economical activities in local GDP. The mass tourism in recent years has been on the decline and stagnation. For example - Costa del Sol Balearic Islands which could have attracted millions of tourists in 1980s & 1990s are facing recession. The majority of industry believes that the promenades have become dirty and ugly despite its popularity in the past. The tourism is planned and operated traditionally for attracting the tourist in most of cities and tourist areas of the world. Hence, the tourists searching for various countries to visit also look for infrastructure and advancement of tourism industry in that country. The tourist interests such as study, adventure, physical treatment and mental relaxation, sport, business and etc. provide rise to the tourism development in local dimensions and attracting the foreign tourists to the country.

[003] The tourism industry and management is always localized to a specific area and the infrastructure management and enhancement is taken care in only the major tourism areas and not nearby. The infrastructure includes accessibility of the tourism area, a central place to stay for tourist with shopping zone for daily and specific needs available within the reach and health centres.

[004] Also investment over a tourism industry to enhance a tourist experience varies from country to country resulting in an imbalance in safety, entertainment, mobility and ease of stay. Further the tourism industry majorly suffers to progress in a country due to linguistic barrier, political conditions and hospitality scale of the local citizens.

[005] In a view of forgoing, there is a need for a method for managing a tourism infrastructure on a global scale alongwith preparing a uniform structure for investment and planning for tourism industry in various geographical regions. Also there is a need for a method for standardizing and assessing various field of tourism comprising a health tourism, a nature tourism, an adventure and sport tourism, and a business tourism. Further there is a need for a method for managing, coordinating, supervising, distributing and comprehending information on tourist development with special interests.

[006] The above mentioned shortcomings, disadvantages and needs are addressed herein, as detailed below. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[007] The primary object of the embodiments herein is to provide a method for managing a tourism infrastructure on a global scale alongwith preparing a uniform structure for investment and planning for tourism industry in various geographical regions.

[008] Another object of the embodiments herein is to provide a method for standardizing and assessing various field of tourism comprising a health tourism, a nature tourism, an adventure and sport tourism, and a business tourism.

[009] Yet another object of the embodiments herein is to provide a method for managing, coordinating, supervising, distributing and comprehending information on tourist development with special interests.

The method comprises determining a region based indexes related to place of attractions, accessibility routes, health and entertainment facilities and tourism industry infrastructure, and gathering data pertaining to weather, flora, fauna, terrain and marine resources of the geographical region. The gathered data is standardized and modulated by amalgamating the traditional tourism methodologies with the modern tourism methodologies. The modulated data is displayed over an online as well as offline readable platform provided for a tourist. The modulated data is then opened for suggestion, updates and recommendations. The suggestions and recommendations from a plurality of local residents and tourists for the gathered data is accepted and updated in the platform. The tourists visiting a geographical region are logged into the platform. The method further comprises managing a tourist plan during a visit to the geographical region. The management of the tourist plan is done by tracking the tourist and availing health, travel, residence and entertainment related facilities for the tourist.
