According to one embodiment of the present invention, an uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) transmission method of a station (STA) device in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system comprises the steps of: transmitting a resource request to an access point (AP); receiving a buffer state request from the AP; transmitting buffer state information to the AP; receiving, from the AP, trigger information for UL MU transmission; and transmitting, by using an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) scheme, a UL MU frame including at least one resource unit, on the basis of the trigger information.
