Abstract:
The present application provides a method for transmitting information, and a communication apparatus. The present application relates to the field of communications. A terminal device can indicate a first beam and a first moment by means of first indication information, and the terminal device measures at least one first reference signal according to second indication information, so as to obtain a second beam, and indicates the second beam by means of third indication information; the terminal device can receive first configuration information at a second moment, wherein the second moment when the terminal device receives the first configuration information is obtained according to the first moment, and the first moment can be a future moment, that is to say, the terminal device can predict the first beam in advance, wherein the second moment is not earlier than the first moment, and the second moment can also be a future moment; and when a future second moment arrives, the terminal device can receive the first configuration information for configuring the second beam, which can prevent a delay caused by determining the first beam after a beam failure occurs, such that the reliability of transmission can be improved.
