Abstract:
The present invention pertains to the field of medicine and sexual pathologies and may be used for treating impotency. This invention more precisely relates to a method for treating impotency as well as to a device for realising the same. This method comprises placing the penis in a condom-type chamber and performing sexual intercourse using said chamber. Alternating negative and positive atmospheric pressures are generated while compressing the dorsal vein of the penis during the first stage. The device of the present invention comprises a condom-type chamber with its outer surface imitating that of the penis. The part of the device that imitates the glans penis may undergo plastic deformation and recover its full shape during sexual intercourse. The device further comprises a lace fixation system for binding it to the scrotum and to the lower part of the trunk. In order to compress the vein and bind the device, the latter comprises four circumferential apertures provided in the vicinity of its open end.
